Dehradun, the capital of Uttaranchal state of India, is famous for its Forest Research Academy and Indian Military Academy. This picture was taken from a bridge near Sahastradhara (A thousand streams) where many streams of Sulpher water flow down from a hill.

Haridwar In Film




The eleventh in the film based series Haridwar In Film, this is either Ram Jhoola (The Swing of Lord Ram) or Lakshman Jhoola (The swing of Lakshman) both in Rishikesh, the twin hanging bridges over Ganga where as the Ram Jhoola is the newly built one, the Lakshman Jhoola was built by arrows shot by Lakshman the younger brother of Lord RamChandra so that Lord Ram his wife Sita and.brother Lakshman could cross the Ganga.
